Supply and start-up of a new Stichweh bucket wheel type E 3011 for dewatering sand 0-4mm. In this bucket wheel the fraction 0-1mm is separated trough the overflow towards an existing 2nd bucket wheel type ES 3009 BL also made by Stichweh.

Successful installation, together with the support of both Stichweh and the customer, of a Stichweh bucket wheel type E6514H on board of a floating sand processing plant.

The entire scope was supplied and assembled within the requested time frame.

The characteristics of an upgrade with VE220 are:

• Extreem hard up to 970 HBN
• Chemically inert pH range 0-14
• Temperature range form -30 degreeC until + 210 degreeC
• VE220 can be casted, manually applied or with a brush
• Applying process at room temperature

The solutions that VE220 offers:

• Extremely wear resistant
• No more chemical attack
• Non-stick coating

We preferably apply VE220 on worn-out or chemically attacked parts which, at least in our opinion gives this solution a green edge.  

• Less use of new materials
• Low energy use during preparation and the application of VE220
• In the case of wear we can correct this wear by means of a “refresh”
• Durable and very affordable

With everything that is happening in the world right now puts  aa lot of pressure on delivery times and pricing.

To avoid a loss of production with a rubber lined cyclone due to long delivery times, Lutze Process decided to give the worn out parts a mayor upgrade!

Instead of renewing the 40 ShA rubber, we decided to choose for LUWISPRAY from our colleagues in Einbeck.

The result is a very wear resistant PU lining in 75 +- 5 ShA with 8 mm thickness and probably the biggest benefit is no glued seams!

The total time needed to upgrade the cyclone was only 4 weeks, and pricewise very competitive with a new rubber lining.
